We’re Daniel and Mabel, the duo behind Chun Fa.

Our vision is simple: to bring the rich, authentic taste of our family’s pork heritage into every Singaporean’s home by digitalizing our business. With over 40 years of history, Chun Fa started in the days when pig rearing was still permitted in Singapore, rooted deeply in tradition and family values.

My father, Chun Fa — affectionately known as ‘Ah Huat’ — learned the trade from his father and brothers, running pig farms in Lim Chu Kang and Jalan Kayu. At the peak, they cared for over a thousand pigs, painstakingly creating their own feed and tending to the animals daily to ensure only the best quality. When the government mandated the end of pig rearing, our family transitioned to selling fresh pork at Boon Lay Place Wet Market, a tradition my father continues to uphold to this day. He started small, faced challenges, but his perseverance and dedication never wavered.

CHUN FA has grown into a household name—thanks to my father’s unwavering vision. His lessons on hard work, diligence, and craftsmanship have shaped us, and we’re committed to serving our customers with the same passion. We cherish every piece of feedback as a way to improve and deliver the best experience possible.

Now, as the third generation managing this family business, we’re embracing digital technology to expand and modernize our operations. While our methods for handling meat and processing have evolved for efficiency and scalability, our core mission remains unchanged: to bring FRESH & HEALTHY PORK from the wet market straight to your dining table.
